For the life of my friends,
my soul is what I sold.
Sold to a demon, my sprit was allowed to run wild,
killing as it pleased.

The demon was tired of sitting around so he took the life so precious to me,
He took the lives of my friends and then took the life belonging to me,

Now I cry tears of blood caused by eternal pain,
eternal pain from the many hearts of those that i had slain.

When all the tears of blood and pain have finnally been cryed out,
My soul can rest at ease.

However that day will never come because of the inumerable amount of those that I had slain.

The blood goes on and on,
it seams to be endless,

But this is my punishment for those I did.

The never ending flow of blood prevents me from leaveing,
leaving this world of suffering and pain, to be with my fallen friends and those that I had slain.

I keep saying, “Someday, someday these tears will come to an end and my soul shall rest at ease.”

But before that day came an arrow struck my heart and released my soul I turned and thanked the one who released me and departed from this world.

I entered the next world and there I saw the face of the one who took my life so long ago.

Anger filled my soul no longer cold, but burning ablaze with hatred.

Then I struck swift and quick
spilling his blood across my body and face and across the earth.

There he lay until this day
still covered in his own tears of blood.

This was my first actual poem that I rememeber writing. I had gone way overboard on the Inuyasha Anime. ^^; Long story.

More than once I have wanted to die…
More than once I have contemplated suicide…

All of this because I want to leave…
to die…
to dissappear…
to finnally be acepted…

This unearthly world
where imortals die
and the fountains of blood
reach up to the sky
Only in this unearthly place
where once again the dead shall rise

The tension is built
the blood run cold
the heart has stopped
and the soul grown old

In this unearthly world
where blood pours from the skies
where even imortals shall meet their demise
the fountains of blood shall cease to run
as a raven cries
the darkness falls
in this unearthly place I call my home…

I’m sorry I tried to befriend an enemy.
I’m sorry I tried to fix my mistake.
I’m sorry I tried to change what was wrong and make it right.

I’m sorry I tried to fix the past.
I’m sorry I tried to do what was best.
I’m sorry I tried to make the world better.

I’m sorry I tried to change to what you saw in me.
I’m sorry I tried to become what you wanted to see.
I’m sorry I tried to be that sweet little girl that the world wanted me to be.

I’m sorry I tried to make you see what it is that I am today.
I’m sorry I tried to ask you to accept me as I am.
I’m sorry I tried to do as told and be that one little girl you all wanted me to be.

And in my final apology I ask you to read.

I’m sorry I never said this before.
I’m sorry I tried and failed.
I’m sorry I am not perfect.

And most of all,
I’m sorry that you never saw what that single child could be.

Where there is silence,
There is sound.

They are constant.
Always the exact inverts of each other.

Fire is thought of as dark,
While it is light.

Ice is though of as healing,
While it is destructive.

But where is our peace?

When our world is full of Chaos.

Or is Chaos what we get for keeping the natural order?

Me and my strange obsesion with yin and yang and the natural balance of things….

It was five years ago
Two towers came crashing down.

Our brave warriors are fighting in the sand
to insure that it never happens again.

Some return, some do not,
But die knowing that we are proud of them,
Our warriors in the sand.

I wrote this in seventh grade for my english teacher, little did I know it would be sent over seas. It was all over my half of the state in a day; tops.

A silver sheen across a blackened strand,
The wind carrying it along in time.

Her golden eyes averted,
Staring directly into the moon.

A poetic verse in perfect sync,
An angelic voice entranced with song.

Her simple words flowed with elegant grace,
‘An Untitled Blade’ was her choice of verse.

In a shadow lay her life,
Her writings along with her fabled scythe.

A stack of paper covered in lead,
Her most treasured drawings lay in red.

She opened her eyes and came back to earth.
She then realized that she must return to her work.

This was her life.
Her hidden passion.

This was her dream.
Her Midnight Talents.

I entered this in to a poem contest and it went all the way to the finals. It is now being published in two countries. In the U.S. and in the U.K.

I gazed about,
Then I looked to the skies.

What I saw shocked me,
But came as no surprise.

What I saw had wings,
Spread wide in flight.

Black in color,
But of feathers and light.

This being had watched me,
All throughout my youth.

But with time,
As all things must,
He faded away.

But here,
In my dreams,
Time has no meaning.

But sadly,
It is only here,
That my guardian angel can spread his wings.

I wrote this at recruit training. Two weeks that I thought would never end…

This is the time to shine,
To let our power flow free.

I am ready to Rebel,
To make the whole world see.

Not everyone is weak.
Some of us will stand.

Not all of us will fall.
We will not fade into the brand!

I will stand with the few.
We will raise our fist.

We will not fall with society.
We will resist!

We will stand against the crowd!
We will fight until the end!

We will not fall with the rest!
We will let our souls Rebel!

I spotted a child,
Mixed in with the crowd,
Her confused eyes,
Settled just below the brow.

I pushed through the crowd,
And knelled down by the child.
I then asked in a kind voice,
“Are you lost dear child?”

“No ma’am. I am with the crowd,
So I am right where I need to be.”
She had replied quickly,
And I was shamed to hear such words.

“Have you forgotten your name?
Are you sure of who you are?”
My question puzzled her,
And she furrowed her brow.

“I was blind to reality,
But now I see,
Just how distorted,
This world has come to be.

No one knows who they are.
Everyone is just like everyone else,
They are scared to be different,
They are scared to be unique.”

The girl looked confused,
And at a loss of words.
“What do you mean?
Have I forgotten my name?”

“You are just like the rest.
You are lost in the crowd.
Now answer one question.
Who are you inside?”

A moment of silence,
And a thousand puzzled thoughts,
Then she looked up at me,
And she told me the truth.

“I am me.
You were right.
I was lost in the crowd.
But Why?”

I smiled at her answer.
Then I stood up in the crowd.
I cleared my voice and spoke;
Clear an Loud.

“Society has bred us.
To be as Machines.
To all be the same.
For their own little game.

Is no one wise enough to see it?
To see through their lies.
Are you all too blind to see
What is right in front of your eyes?

Are you who you are,
Or are you one of the crowd?
It’s a demented reality.
Why be scared to stand out?

You have nothing to lose.
Just open your eyes.
The being inside;
That is your prize.

Break the binds
And shatter the chains!
This is Our World,
Lets us not be restrained!

Have you all lost your senses!
Have you all become blind!
Have you all lost who you are?
Have you all forgotten your names?”

I wrote this a while back, the morning I wrote ‘Rebel’ as a matter of fact.
I hope this open the eyes of a few people.
Because sadly;
This is true.
